| Ken Murphy having graduated from University College Cork in 1987 with an Electrical Engineering degree, worked as a Network Design Engineer with Bellsouth in the USA before returning to Ireland in 1989. Since then, he has worked within the multinational sector for companies such as Apple Computer, FMC Automotive, Moog and General Semiconductor in the areas of quality management, purchasing, logistics and Supply Chain Management. He has most recently operated as Supply Chain Manager for Technicolor Ireland (formerly Kodak) setting up the DVD packaging operation. Ken has significant experience in managing the changing demands within the global electronics sector through operational and project management activities. He has been actively involved in the Cork Electronics Industry Association as well as lecturing for IPICS at UCC. |
