| Joe Robbins in the Shannon office of CareerWise Recruitment requires a European Market/ Sales Manager for our Limerick client. The successful candidate must have the following:
Demonstratable Sales Generation experience with European Medical Devices / Pharma companies
Minimum 50% Travel - Europe
Identification of new niche markets
Experience with Value Added Pricing
Engineering background
Position/Person Can be located anywhere in Europe
THE ROLE
Actively sells the company’s product and services to both established and new customers.
Applies knowledge of company services, products and marketing techniques to generate new sales. Works with Business Manager in developing new products, recommending product and product line revisions, R & D and executing marketing strategy.
Manages regions which require minimum 50% travel.
Make identifiable and substantial contributions to continuous improvement.
Actively sell company products and services by interacting with established customers and developing new prospects.
Develop sales plans which demonstrate and ensure future growth within the assigned region(s).
Manage forecast of products with region(s) and communicate that information with the company.
Prepare company to accept an order (Includes securing and renewing orders, negotiating contracts, communicating lead times and delivery dates and informing internal staff of customers’ requirements).
Confer with the Business Manager in the development of new product(s) and product line revisions as a result of identifying new applications.
Inform customers of supply and price trends and assist in inventory control.
Inform customers of new products/services and other general information of interest.
Refer customer complaints to proper departments.
Maintain records and prepare reports in a timely manner on all phases of sales activities.
Active Member of project team(s) in the product development process. Monitors and drives timely completion of key milestones in the development process.
Prepares and assists in managing trade shows.
Ability to support/promote core business applications and identify new niche markets in which to generate new revenue
REQUIREMENTS
College Degree
Ability to travel minimum 50% of the time
Minimum of 4 to 6 years sales experience
Application selling experience
Strong listening, communication and presentation skills
Project Management experience preferred
Ability to think strategically and work in a team environment
Proven track record of generating new sales revenue
Minimum 4-6 years experience within the Industry supported by the business unit.
Experience in value added pricing
